Rotate Pages

Rotate PDF pages 90°, 180° or 270°

Last updated: 2026-10-08

Rotate PDF is a free browser-based tool that rotates PDF pages by 90°, 180°, or 270° to correct sideways or upside-down scans. Rotation is applied to all pages of the document simultaneously and is completely lossless — no image quality or text clarity is lost during the operation, since the underlying page content is unchanged, only its orientation metadata is updated. Processing happens entirely in the browser using pdf-lib, so files never leave the user's device. To rotate only specific pages rather than the whole document, users should first use the Extract Pages tool to isolate those pages, rotate them separately, then merge the results back together. There is no file-size limit and no login requirement. This tool is commonly used to fix documents scanned in the wrong orientation from flatbed or mobile scanners, and works identically across desktop and mobile browsers with results downloading instantly as a corrected PDF.
